KDV Het Woelige Nest

Welcome to Daycare Het Woelige Nest, located on the rural Brandsweg 1a in Hulshorst. We provide small-scale, professional childcare for 32 children aged 0 to 4 years in two vertical groups: Kukeluus and Kieken. Our site is a former campsite that has been completely renovated to meet all modern safety standards. Inside we have spacious living and sleeping areas with a doll corner, play kitchen, craft corner and wooden toys. Outside, everything is safely fenced and you will find an animal meadow with chickens, ducks, rabbits and lambs, a vegetable garden, football pitch, sandboxes and an outdoor kitchen. Our dedicated team of pedagogical staff – from Nunspeet and Hulshorst – guide the children with great experience and warmth. We work according to a clear vision: the child is central and is given every opportunity to be themselves. We sing together, read aloud, do crafts and cook with vegetables and fruit from the local farm. Every morning we feed the animals together with the children and help out in the vegetable garden. What makes our childcare unique is that children can sleep outside during the day in one of the eight outdoor beds per group. This promotes rest and is good for the airways. We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Parents drop off their child between 7:00 and 9:00 AM and pick them up again between 4:30 and 6:00 PM. There is always room for an extra sandwich for the road.
