About this care
Welcome to KDV Het Spectrum, located at Robert van ’t Hoffstraat 30 in Rotterdam. We are part of Gro-up childcare and provide professional daycare for babies and toddlers aged 0 to 4. Each day we work in small, same-age groups so every child receives the calm and attention they deserve.
Our qualified pedagogical staff create a safe, homely environment focused on development. We follow the Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme to stimulate language, motor skills and social interaction through play. Children can safely enjoy our private garden outside; inside, a quiet sleeping area with cribs and beds is ready for rest.
Daily care items are included: diapers, wipes and care products are provided. We also serve a fresh, warm lunch and healthy snacks, taking allergies into account. All you need to bring is your child and an extra set of clothes.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 9 July 2026 for daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Het Spectrum in Rotterdam shows that the childcare location still does not meet the quality requirements for safety and health policy. This concerns a follow-up investigation into previously identified violations. Although the action plan now meets requirements and cleaning issues have been largely resolved, serious shortcomings remain in the areas of heat and air quality. The violation has not been remedied.
