About this care
KDV De Bongerd is a welcoming and safe place for children aged 0 to 4 located at Vaassenseweg 3 in Terwolde. Our daycare center is part of Kindcentrum de Bongerd, where childcare and education go hand in hand within one familiar building. Our pedagogical staff ensure that all children can play, experience and discover in a homely environment.
We are open Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. Children can be dropped off from 07:30. We ask that children arrive before 08:45 due to the group rhythm.
Within the entire early childhood section of our center, we work with the same themes. We use the VVE method Startblokken, covering all developmental areas: social-emotional, cognitive, language and math, motor skills, and more.
Before your child starts daycare, we conduct an intake interview. In this conversation, you'll receive additional information about our childcare and we'll fill in a form about your child together. Additionally, we schedule one or two settling-in sessions so your child can gradually get used to the new environment.
We communicate with parents through the KOVnet parent app. Here you'll find your contract, newsletters and notes written by our staff. Every month you'll find the invoice and at the end of the year the annual statement. Through the app, you can also report sickness or vacation, request a swap day or extra childcare.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Bongerd in Terwolde, part of Stichting Archipel Kinderopvang, was inspected on 9 March 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland. The location provides daycare for 28 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided across two vertical groups and a toddler group. The pedagogical practice is assessed positively: children are treated sensitively, challenged in their development, and guided in social interactions. However, three shortcomings were identified that were resolved through a recovery offer. The pedagogical work plan insufficiently concretely described the age composition of the groups. For one staff member, evidence of adequate language proficiency (IKK) was initially missing. Children younger than 1 year had also been assigned more than two consistent staff members. Following the recovery offer, the location now meets all assessed statutory requirements. The advice to the municipality of Voorst is: no enforcement action.
