Welcome to Sam&gijsje, our daycare centre in the Zandweerd neighbourhood of Deventer. This location is part of Sam&ko, the social childcare organisation within Raster Groep. At Sam&gijsje, movement is central. It is an official movement location with extra attention to children's motor development. The large round hall inside offers space for building, climbing, dancing or quietly reading a book. Outside, the playground, sandpit, outdoor kitchen and bicycle paths await. There are also outdoor cribs (sleeping huts) for the youngest children, allowing babies to sleep safely outside in the fresh air. Every day starts and ends with a movement dance.
