Welcome to KDV De Bloemenweide, a modern daycare centre run by Fris! Kinderopvang at Linie 540 in Apeldoorn-Oost, right next to shopping centre Het Fort. We provide care for 48 children aged 0–4 in bright, spacious and homely surroundings where fun, development and care are central. Our centre has two baby groups (0–1.5 years) and six vertical groups (1–4 years). This setup allows siblings to grow up together and children of different ages to learn from one another. Every child is given the space to take steps towards independence at his or her own pace. We follow the Dalton educational philosophy: structured, playful, caring and connected. A well-thought-out daily rhythm offers safety and predictability while leaving plenty of room for creativity. Play and discovery take place both indoors and outdoors. Our enclosed garden is playfully equipped with a sandpit, climbing frames and space to ride bikes. When the weather is nice we spend a lot of time outside so children can move, romp and explore nature. Indoors we use the Uk & Puk programme: together with hand-puppet Puk we practise language, motor skills and social abilities in a playful way, stimulating each child’s all-round development. Parents are not spectators but partners. Through the parent portal we share daily photos, videos and observations. We organise parent evenings and keep communication short and direct: questions or ideas can always be discussed straight away. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 07:00–18:30 all year round (except official public holidays and one staff training day).
