About this care
Daycare Het Kleine Woud is part of Stichting Doomijn Apeldoorn and is located in the multifunctional center Het Bolwerk at Ravelijn 55 in Apeldoorn. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment where there is room for discovery, play and development.
With us, your child's development is central. We offer a stimulating environment in which children can grow at their own pace. Our experienced pedagogical staff guide the children with great care and attention. We work with vertical groups, so children of different ages play and learn together.
Our location has a large hall with exciting play corners, a construction corner, a kitchen corner, a creative studio and a gym mat. Outside we play in the square, walk to the playground or petting zoo, or run an errand at the shopping center.
We work according to the Gordon method, where equality and mutual respect are central. This way children learn to play together and make friends in a pleasant way.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland conducted an unannounced follow-up investigation on 15 August 2025 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Doomijn KDV Het Kleine Woud in Apeldoorn. The follow-up investigation focused on two violations identified during the annual inspection visit of 24 February 2025: 1) a BBL student had an employment contract of 16 hours per week, while a minimum of 20 hours is required for daycare; 2) multiple staff members were insufficiently familiar with the duty to report, consult, and file official notifications (moa) in cases of suspected child abuse or sexual abuse. During the follow-up investigation, the location was able to demonstrate that both violations have been resolved: the BBL student's contract has been adjusted to a minimum of 20 hours and all staff members are now familiar with the moa procedure. The inspection concludes that the assessed statutory conditions are being met and advises the municipality of Apeldoorn not to take enforcement action.
