Summary

KDV De Appelgaard in Nieuwe Niedorp, part of childcare organisation Monter, was inspected on 20 May 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden. The annual investigation involved an unannounced visit during which documents were reviewed and conversations were held with staff. The location provides care for 31 children (ages 0-4) in two core groups. All assessed conditions were met. One point of attention was that the location was registered in the LRK with 46 childcare places, whilst in practice a maximum of 31 children are cared for. The holder submitted a change request during the inspection to adjust this to 31 places. The accommodation, staff qualifications, pedagogical climate, and group stability all met statutory requirements.
