About this care
Welcome to Bodhi Kinderopvang located at Lekstraat 2 in Almere. We are a warm, small-scale daycare centre where a maximum of 10 to 11 children are cared for each day. At Bodhi, everything revolves around creating a homely and loving atmosphere where children feel safe and at home.
We follow a conscious, plant-based and organic lifestyle. Every day, we prepare plant-based and organic meals together with the children. The children not only learn what is on their plate, but also where it comes from. We believe it is important that children are approached with love and kindness, so they can pass this on to others.
Being outdoors is essential to us. We go outside every day, where children can be themselves, have fun and enjoy everything nature has to offer in every season. Our large garden by the Leeghwaterplas offers plenty of space to play, discover and grow.
Bodhi is a place to learn: about yourself, about others and about the world around you. We provide a calm, safe environment in which every child is given the space to develop at his or her own pace. We work with vertical groups, in which children from 0 to 4 years play and learn together. This stimulates social development and the natural learning process.
Our location is registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 163836024) and is under the supervision of the GGD Flevoland. This allows parents to apply for childcare allowance for care at our facility.
We look forward to a wonderful time together!Read more

Summary
KDV Bodhi Kinderopvang in Almere was inspected unannounced on 13 January 2026 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Flevoland. The location provides daycare for a maximum of 12 children aged 0-4 years in community center De Draaikolk. The inspection covered the pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation.
