Summary
KC Almen in Almen, part of Juut & Co Kinderopvang B.V., was inspected on 15 June 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland on behalf of the municipality of Lochem. This was an unannounced annual investigation into the quality of daycare (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 16 children (0-4 years). The location meets all assessed quality requirements. The pedagogical practice demonstrates a relaxed and engaged approach, with children playing independently and being challenged by the environment. There were sufficient qualified staff present with valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) registration. Safety and health policy was adequately followed, including ventilation, hand hygiene, and safe sleeping. One note concerns the delayed deregistration of a discontinued intern from the childcare personnel register. The licence holder did not submit a response.
