About this care
Welcome to IJgenweis Sport BSO, located at Korfbalvereniging Korbis on Sniepweg 13i in Waddinxveen. We provide after-school care for children from Bethelschool and Rehobothschool from grade 4 up to 13 years old. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since August 21, 2023, under number 103397929 and offers space for up to 24 children.
Our Sport BSO is unique because we utilize the facilities of the korfball association. Children can enjoy sports, movement and play in a safe and familiar environment after school. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:15 to 18:30 for Bethelschool children and from 15:30 to 18:30 for Rehobothschool children. The Sport BSO is closed on Wednesday and Friday.
During school holidays (Midden-Holland region) and study days of both schools, we are open from 7:00 to 18:30, so parents can rely on our care during these times as well. We only close on official public holidays such as New Year's Day, Easter, King's Day and Christmas.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 16 June 2026 at IJgenweis Sport BSO B.V. in Waddinxveen. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates up to 24 children from group 4 onwards in the canteen of korfball club Korbis. The inspection assessed pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. All requirements were immediately met on two of the three topics. On safety and health, there was a shortcoming: a staff member could not physically locate the reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse on-site, and a colleague also did not know where it was kept. The GGD offered a recovery offer. The operator submitted an action plan within the deadline with measures for improved findability and awareness, after which the shortcoming was resolved. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
