About this care
Welcome to BSO IJdoorn, located inside the IJdoornschool primary school building at Alkmaarstraat 14 in Amsterdam Noord. We provide before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO works closely with the school and Tinteltuin to offer a seamless pedagogical and educational program. We create a safe and active environment where children can play, move, and relax after a school day. With 22 BSO places available, our location is fully integrated into the school building, allowing children to stay in a familiar setting. Summary
On 20 March 2026, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an announced incidental inspection at BSO IJdoorn in Amsterdam following a request to expand from 22 to 46 childcare places. The inspection consisted of document review and a telephone conversation with the location manager. The location is part of TintelTuin, a large organisation with more than 90 branches. The inspection assessed whether the expansion is possible within the statutory quality requirements.
