BSO De Wensboom

BSO De Wensboom is located in the DUPLO building at Maurits Prinsstraat 27 in Dinxperlo. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 and work closely with the two primary schools housed in the same building. Our centre has room for up to 44 children and is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. Everything we do centres on co-creation and discovery. Each day our qualified pedagogical staff sit down with the children and ask: what would you like to do today? The possibilities are endless – from catching tadpoles and creating graffiti to conducting experiments, painting or playing football. We deliberately organise activities around themes such as technology, sport, nature, music, drama, cooking and creativity so that every child can explore and develop their talents. Together we turn every day into a celebration! During school holidays and teacher-training days we adapt our programme and offer a special holiday schedule. Even then, children help decide what activities are on offer. We believe it is important that children feel safe and at ease; therefore we work with familiar faces and provide a homely, calm environment in a child-friendly neighbourhood. Our approach is designed to give children space to make their own choices, building self-confidence and initiative. We offer a warm, stable setting where fun, cooperation and respect are key.
