This inspection report concerns an application for registration of childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) Hiffens in Arnhem. The inspection took place on 9 February 2026. The childminder, Muriël Joyce Hiffens, provides care in her own home on Borgardijnstraat for 3 childcare places, mediated by childminder agency (gastouderbureau) 4Kids B.V. Care takes place on Tuesday and Thursday all day, and Friday afternoon. The pedagogical practice could not be assessed as the childminder had not yet started, but the interview revealed sufficient knowledge of the pedagogical policy. All examined themes – general terms and conditions, pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, accommodation and layout, and safety and health – meet the legal requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Arnhem to include the location in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
