About this care
Welcome to Het Lindehofje, a small-scale daycare centre in the heart of Oud-Beijerland. We provide anthroposophical day care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our daycare is open daily from 08:00 to 18:00, 48 weeks per year. We work with vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and natural helping behaviour.
At Het Lindehofje, the anthroposophical vision is central: we see every child as a unique individual with their own talents and developmental steps. Our pedagogical staff provide lots of personal attention and follow your child's rhythm. We work with natural materials and allow space for imagination and creativity. Artistic activities such as painting, sculpting and handicrafts are part of our daily programme, as is plenty of outdoor play in our secure garden.
Peace and regularity are important pillars in our childcare. We maintain fixed daily routines with room for free play, joint activities and quiet moments. The children sleep in our quiet sleeping areas. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure, so that they can develop optimally. Parents are welcome to contribute and participate in the daily life of our daycare centre.

Practical info
Payment
Once your child is placed, payment is made via direct debit. The amount is collected on the 26th of the month preceding the care month. If you do not use direct debit, an additional €5 in administrative fees will be charged monthly.

Summary
Het Lindehofje is an anthroposophic daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Oud-Beijerland with 16 places for children aged 2 to 4 years. The annual inspection of 30 September 2025 shows that the location meets all assessed conditions following a recovery offer. The pedagogical quality is good: there is a relaxed, open atmosphere and staff act sensitively and responsively. The accommodation is safe and appropriately furnished with sufficient indoor and outdoor play space. There were two violations for which a recovery offer was made: the pedagogical policy plan lacked concrete descriptions regarding children's development and mentor-parent discussions, and the distribution of the pedagogical policy staff's hours was not documented in writing. Both shortcomings have been resolved (on 21 November and 11 December 2025). The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
