't Leidsche Tuynhuis

Welcome to ’t Leidsche Tuynhuis daycare, located in a characteristic 1930s building at Cobetstraat 1A in Leiden. In this green, quiet neighbourhood on the edge of the city centre we provide care for up to 96 children aged 0 to 4. Our monumental premises exude atmosphere and space: high-ceilinged rooms all open onto a large, walled garden with a play hill and trampoline. Here children can move freely, explore and play in a safe, green environment. We operate five vertical daycare groups in which children of different ages play and learn together. This encourages social development and gives the youngest the chance to learn from older children. Each group has a fixed team of pedagogical staff who know and follow every child’s development. Our flexible childcare allows you to swap days and tailor care to your personal situation. For the very youngest we provide nappies and formula, so you can delegate with peace of mind. Around lunchtime we serve a daily warm, fresh meal from caterer ‘Kiek in de Pot’, ensuring your child eats healthily and varied even on busy workdays. Our opening hours are 07:00–19:00, Monday to Friday. Feel free to drop by for a tour and experience for yourself the warm, homely atmosphere in which your child can grow.
