Het Kwetternest Eenrum

Welcome to Peuterschool het Kwetternest, part of Stichting Goud. We are located at Hunse 2 in the centre of Eenrum and provide educational childcare for children aged 2 to 4. Our brand-new, contemporary building is bright and spacious and sits close to the primary school, gym and playground. Our pedagogical policy focuses on the all-round development of every child. Learning through play is key: by playing together the toddlers gradually get used to the rhythm and structure of primary school. We pay special attention to language development and creative activities. Reading aloud and storytelling are important elements, as are arts and crafts. Nature plays a big role in our daily programme. Whenever possible we go outside; our garden and the immediate surroundings offer countless opportunities for discovery. We work with fixed themes that connect to the children’s world of experience, stimulating curiosity and empathy. Our groups are horizontally structured: children of the same age are together. This allows us to tailor activities precisely to the developmental stage of the toddlers. We provide care on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; parents can choose two or three half-days per week. Communication with parents is important to us. We keep you personally informed about your child’s progress and you are warmly invited to join our regular holiday activities.
