Summary

On 26 February 2026, GGD Twente conducted an incidental investigation at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Helm erhoek in Enschede. The inspection assessed whether the planned expansion from 76 to 78 childcare places complies with the quality requirements of the Childcare Act. The location, part of Stichting Humankind, provides care for children aged 0-4 years in five core groups. The expansion concerns two additional places in the baby group Girafjes (from 12 to 14). The investigation included document review, a site visit, and an interview with the location manager. The conclusion is positive: the expansion meets all requirements.
