This inspection report concerns an annual inspection conducted on 14 April 2025 at the childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) of Ms P.A.M. Te Brake-Simons at Gruttostraat 8 in Lichtenvoorde. The gastouderopvang, registered since January 2012 with 6 childcare places and placed through 4Kids, provides care on Thursday afternoons after school. The inspection comprised document review, a site visit and an interview with the host parent. On all examined areas – pedagogical climate, requirements for the host parent, accommodation and furnishings, and safety and health – the statutory quality requirements are met. The host parent has a trusting relationship with the children, works with a fixed daily routine and adapts to each child's development. The accommodation is safe and appropriately furnished with sufficient play and outdoor space. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The advice to the municipality is to take no enforcement action.
