At Gastouderland, you'll find small-scale childminder care (gastouderopvang) in a family setting, where your child is always looked after by the same familiar childminder (gastouder). You'll be assigned a personal regional consultant who lives in your area and serves as your dedicated point of contact. The consultant actively searches for a childminder who matches your needs and guides you through the entire matching process. Childminder care is flexible: you pay per hour and can adjust care hours to fit your working schedule, with some childminders even offering 24-hour care. All childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register, so you are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag).

Gastouderland has nationwide coverage with 23 locations spread throughout the Netherlands. Each region has its own consultant who works locally and is familiar with the childminder network in the area. The locations operate regionally and have a large pool of qualified childminders. Parents can always count on personal contact with a consultant who lives and works in their neighbourhood.

Gastouderland meets all legal requirements of the Childcare Act and is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). All childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) and the Childcare Persons Register (PRK). Childminders and household members over 18 hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The care locations are checked annually for safety and hygiene through risk assessments. Gastouderland has internal and external complaints procedures and is a member of the Disputes Committee. The agency works with a pedagogical policy plan and offers a pedagogical helpdesk for questions.

Mare Childminder Agency is registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang) under number 160012351 and meets all legal quality requirements. The agency is regularly inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) and no violations were found during the last inspection. All childminders have a Certificate of Good Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag/VOG) and are properly linked in the Childcare Persons Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang/PRK). The agency carries out annual risk assessments and spends a minimum of 16 hours per year on guidance per childminder.
