At Gastouderland, you'll find small-scale childminder care (gastouderopvang) in a homely atmosphere. Your child is cared for by a registered childminder (gastouder) with whom you build a personal bond. Our regional consultant guides you in finding the right match and is always there for you. You only pay for the actual hours of care and are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). We offer flexible childcare options, also for parents with irregular working hours.

Gastouderland has national coverage with 23 locations throughout the Netherlands. Our regional consultants work locally and have access to a large database of qualified childminders (gastouders) in every region. We have locations across the country so we can serve you as locally as possible.

Gastouderland complies with the Childcare Act and is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). All childminders (gastouders) and household members over 18 have a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and are registered in the Childcare Persons Register. The care location is checked annually for safety and hygiene. We have an internal and external complaints procedure and are members of the Disputes Committee. GGD inspection reports are publicly available via our documents page.

Gastouderservice Take Care offers parents personal support in finding a suitable childminder (gastouder) for their child. The agency works with qualified pedagogical consultants who serve as a fixed point of contact and guide parents through the entire process. Parents can count on careful matching where the click between parent, child and childminder (gastouder) is central. Take Care applies fixed low agency fees and handles all administration, including invoicing and payment to the childminder (gastouder), so that parents can focus on their child's care.

Gastouderservice Take Care is a nationally operating childminder agency (gastouderbureau) that offers childminder care (gastouderopvang) throughout the Netherlands. Parents from all regions can use the agency's services to find a suitable childminder (gastouder) in their area. The agency actively searches for childminders (gastouders) in the parent's desired region, also outside its own database via municipal registers and other sources.

Gastouderservice Take Care meets all government quality requirements and has received excellent inspection reports from the GGD every year since 2010. The agency is registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang) under number 836058112 and is affiliated with the Brancheorganisatie Kinderopvang and BOinK. Take Care has a parent committee that advises on pedagogical policy, safety, health and complaints regulations. Complaints are handled impartially via the Stichting Klachtencommissie Kinderopvang. The agency only works with childminders (gastouders) who meet all legal requirements, including VOG, first aid certificate and MBO-2 diploma.
