Our childminders (gastouders) provide a safe, trusted environment where your child feels right at home. Because you only pay for the hours you actually use, childminder care (gastouderopvang) is often more affordable than other forms of childcare. We guide both parents and childminders, and are always available for questions and support.

Gastouderbureau Tante Muis has an extensive network of childminders (gastouders) throughout the province of Groningen. Our childminders are spread across various towns in the region, which means we can often find a childminder near you. The agency itself is based in Zeerijp, but our childminders provide care at various locations in the surrounding area.

Gastouderbureau Tante Muis is a registered childminder agency (LRK number: 101219118) and is inspected annually by the GGD (Municipal Health Service). All childminders must meet strict legal requirements: they must hold a recognised diploma (at minimum, Social Care Assistant level 2), a valid paediatric first aid certificate, a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) for the childminder and any adult household members, and an approved risk assessment of the home. Only after registration in the National Childcare Register (LRK) may a childminder begin working. Our agency carries out annual checks with childminders, including evaluations, risk assessments and unannounced visits.
