At Kid@home, we believe personal attention for every child is essential. Our childminders (gastouders) provide small-scale care in a homely atmosphere, where children feel safe and at ease. As a parent, you get a dedicated childminder who really gets to know your child and has the space to give each child individual attention. We guide the entire process from matching through to care, and ensure regular evaluations to discuss your child's wellbeing. Our pedagogical coaches are on hand to answer questions and offer support.

Kid@home operates regionally in the area between Arnhem and Nijmegen. Our childminders are active in the municipality of Lingewaard (Angeren, Bemmel, Doornenburg, Gendt, Haalderen, Huissen) and in the surrounding areas of Arnhem, Elst (Gelderland), Oosterhout (Gelderland)/Nijmegen-Noord and Valburg. We know all our childminders personally and believe regional working is important for good contact and guidance.

Kid@home is a registered childminding agency listed in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang/LRK). We feel responsible for a proper execution of our duties that leads to the delivery of high-quality childcare. The municipality is responsible for quality supervision and engages the VGGM (Safety and Health Region Gelderland Midden) as supervisory body. An annual inspection visit takes place and an inspection report is drawn up following this. All childminders must also be registered in the LRK, and parents are only entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) if both the agency and the childminders are registered in time.
