ViaViela helps parents find a reliable childminder (gastouder) in their neighbourhood. The agency offers small-scale, tailor-made care with one-on-one attention for children in a home-like environment. Parents receive personal guidance from a dedicated contact person in their region, who supports them throughout the entire process from matching through to the care period. ViaViela ensures careful screening of childminders and provides extensive pedagogical support.

ViaViela has nationwide coverage with approximately 50 childminder agencies spread throughout the Netherlands. The agency is active in all regions of the Netherlands, from Groningen to Maastricht and from Zeeland to Twente. Parents always have a dedicated contact person in their area who provides personal guidance.

ViaViela complies with all legal requirements for childminder agencies. All branches and childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK). The agency is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD), and childminders receive a GGD inspection at their care location every two years. ViaViela itself conducts regular visits to childminders to check that all safety and hygiene regulations are being met. Childminders must hold all required diplomas.

At Gastouderbureau De Duiventil, parents receive a fixed point of contact (placement coordinator) who remains their contact person throughout the entire childcare period. Parents can count on quick and clear communication, support with applying for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag), and a user-friendly online hours registration system. The bureau handles the treasury function, collects childcare fees and pays out reimbursements to the childminder. Annually, parents receive an overview of all reimbursements and childcare hours for reporting to the tax authorities. In case of absence of the regular childminder, the bureau actively helps find a replacement.

Gastouderbureau De Duiventil has national coverage with a branch in Doetinchem. The bureau mediates childminder childcare in a large part of the Netherlands, particularly in Duiven, Westervoort, Zevenaar, Arnhem, Zwolle, Den Haag, Eindhoven, Ede and Veenendaal. The bureau is happy to travel further for a good intake and is also glad to help in other locations. Placement is only for childcare at the childminder's home.

Gastouderbureau De Duiventil is inspected annually by the GGD (Municipal Health Service) for compliance with childcare legislation and regulations. All inspection reports from 2015 onwards are publicly available on the website. The bureau offers a complaints procedure and has remained free of complaints since its start in 2015. In case of disputes, parents can turn to the disputes committee. All childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) and meet legal requirements.
