This annual inspection of 1 June 2024 concerns childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) Puriel in Capelle aan den IJssel, registered since November 2022 with six childcare places. The inspection was carried out unannounced by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond. All assessed quality requirements are met: pedagogical practice, Certificate of Conduct/VOG and persons register, competence, language of communication, accommodation, group composition, backup host parent, risk assessment and reporting code. The host parent demonstrates a warm, stimulating pedagogical approach and meets all formal requirements. One minor safety point concerns stacked boxes in the play area, which the host parent has verbally committed to lowering. No violations were identified during this inspection. Earlier violations from 2023 have been remedied through a recovery offer. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
