The annual unannounced inspection of the childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) of N.E. Bos-Coster in Capelle aan den IJssel, conducted on 27 October 2025, shows that the location largely complies with statutory quality requirements. The childminder provides care for 6 children in her own home from 1928, through the childminder agency Korelon B.V. Four children were present during the visit. Nearly all aspects checked, including pedagogical practice, group composition, accommodation and safety, were assessed as in order. However, the inspection identified a shortcoming: the childminder agency had overlooked the risk of lead pipes in the risk assessment due to the property being built before 1960. This was discussed and subsequently assessed after the visit; no lead pipes were found to be present following earlier renovations. No violations were established and no recovery offer was made. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
