At Kid@home, we believe personal attention for every child is essential. Our childminders (gastouders) provide small-scale care in a homely atmosphere, where children feel safe and at ease. As a parent, you get a dedicated childminder who really gets to know your child and has the space to give each child individual attention. We guide the entire process from matching through to care, and ensure regular evaluations to discuss your child's wellbeing. Our pedagogical coaches are on hand to answer questions and offer support.

Kid@home operates regionally in the area between Arnhem and Nijmegen. Our childminders are active in the municipality of Lingewaard (Angeren, Bemmel, Doornenburg, Gendt, Haalderen, Huissen) and in the surrounding areas of Arnhem, Elst (Gelderland), Oosterhout (Gelderland)/Nijmegen-Noord and Valburg. We know all our childminders personally and believe regional working is important for good contact and guidance.

Kid@home is a registered childminding agency listed in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang/LRK). We feel responsible for a proper execution of our duties that leads to the delivery of high-quality childcare. The municipality is responsible for quality supervision and engages the VGGM (Safety and Health Region Gelderland Midden) as supervisory body. An annual inspection visit takes place and an inspection report is drawn up following this. All childminders must also be registered in the LRK, and parents are only entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) if both the agency and the childminders are registered in time.

We provide free mediation between parents seeking care and approximately 130 childminders (gastouders) in Noord-Brabant, Limburg, and Gelderland. Our childminders (gastouders) work in a homely environment, providing calm and individual attention for every child.

We support parents throughout the entire care arrangement: from finding a suitable childminder (gastouder) to assistance with applying for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). Gastouderbureau Betsie mediates between parents seeking care and childminders (gastouders) across a large part of Noord-Brabant, Limburg, and Gelderland. We work with approximately 130 childminders (gastouders) spread across these three provinces.

Our childminders (gastouders) are active in cities and towns such as Arnhem, Nijmegen, Eindhoven, Boxmeer, Cuijk, Oss, Uden, Veghel, Gemert, Grave, and many other places. Parents can turn to us for childminding (gastouderopvang) in their immediate area, both care at the childminder's (gastouder's) home and childminding (gastouder) at the parent's home.

Gastouderbureau Betsie has been a recognized registered childminding agency (gastouderbureau) since 2005 and meets all legal requirements. We are affiliated with the Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang (Childcare Disputes Committee) for independent complaint handling. Our pedagogical policy plan has been approved by the GGD and meets the statutory competencies.

All childminders (gastouders) are registered in the National Childcare and Preschool Register (LRKP) and hold the required pedagogical diplomas and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). We conduct annual risk assessments for safety and health at care addresses and have an active parent committee for quality assurance.
