Summary

This is an annual inspection of the childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) of Vries van den Oever in Urk, conducted on 22 August 2024 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Flevoland. The childminder provides flexible care for three (grand)children at the home of the requesting parents. During the unannounced visit, the childminder was absent; the inspector spoke with the requesting parent and checked the home. On 23 August, a telephone conversation took place with the childminder. The general assessment is that the childminder provides responsible childcare. There was one violation: missing smoke detectors on the first and second floor. This was corrected following a recovery offer, after photos of installed smoke detectors were received on 28 September 2024. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
