Summary

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) of Jannetje Marretje de Boer at Vooronder 41 in Urk on 28 May 2025. This concerns a new application for registration in the National Childcare Register. The childminder provides flexible care for two children (ages 0 and 2 years) in the parents' home and is affiliated with childminder agency De Bult. The inspection showed that the childminder has sufficient knowledge of pedagogical policy, the home is suitable for childcare, and safety measures are largely in order. Several safety issues were identified: a broken light switch in the bedroom, unsecured cleaning products in the utility room, and unsecured electrical outlets. The childminder was given 48 hours to resolve these issues and has demonstrated this with photographs. Two risk discussions were also held regarding safe sleeping (baby with too many blankets) and a loop-forming cord above the toddler bed. The inspector concludes that the assessed requirements are met and recommends positive registration.
