About this care
KION daycare Grootstal is located at Kindcampus Grootstal on Newtonstraat 50 in Nijmegen. In this modern building we collaborate with primary school De Kleine Wereld and UniK, allowing children aged 0-4 to become familiar with the school environment from an early age. This collaboration makes the transition to primary school smoother later on.
We provide care for up to 48 children in our daycare facility. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and familiar environment where each child can develop at their own pace. Due to the small-scale setup and proximity to the primary school, children quickly feel at home.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Grootstal in Nijmegen, part of KION Kinderopvang B.V., was inspected by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Gelderland-Zuid on 24 March 2026. The location provides care for 48 children in one vertical core group (0-4 years) and two toddler groups (2-4 years) with early childhood education (voorschoolse educatie). The annual inspection shows that the provider meets all inspected quality requirements. The pedagogical practice is of good quality with a relaxed atmosphere, permanent staff and targeted developmental stimulation. The early childhood education, staff qualifications, administration and deployment of the pedagogical policy staff member are all in order. In the past there were multiple violations regarding early childhood education, but these have been resolved. No new violations or areas for improvement were identified in this inspection.
