Improvements needed
Inspection date: June 2, 2025
Strengths
- The safety and health policy is complete and up to date, including an evacuation plan with emergency response (BHV) instructions and an evaluation form
- Parents and staff can easily access the policy via the newsletter and the website
- The holder has actively and promptly implemented improvements within a few months
Shortcomings
- Engage parents more effectively and proactively in policy matters through a physical meeting and targeted advisory questions in newsletters (plan is ready for implementation)
Summary
Green Village is a small-scale daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 16 children aged 0–4 in Almere-Buiten. During the unannounced follow-up inspection on 2 June 2025, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) found that the previously identified violations have been remedied. The safety and health policy has been supplemented with a clear evacuation plan and information on how parents and staff can access the policy. An action plan has also been drawn up to involve parents more actively in policy matters on which they have advisory rights. No new violations were found. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
