At Peuteropvang Krullevaar, located at Wadensteinlaan 46a in Tiel, themes and a consistent daily rhythm are central. We sing together, do arts and crafts, read books, and regularly go outside to play and discover. We also visit the Vrijthof, where we read stories or sing songs with elderly residents. These activities support the social and emotional development of the children.
Peuteropvang Krullevaar uses early childhood education (VE). This program is specially developed for children from 2.5 years who can benefit from extra developmental stimulation. Our group is set up to include both VE children and regular children. This way, they learn from and with each other, ensuring all children get an equal start at primary school.

Strong points are the safe pedagogical climate, sufficiently qualified staff, correct child-to-staff ratios and a complete pedagogical policy plan. There were two violations: the implementation of early childhood education (VE) policy and the layout of the indoor space were inadequate. After the recovery period, the group room was found to have been rearranged with clear play corners, a themed activity table and an annual plan for VE activities; the violations are therefore resolved. The advice to the municipality is to take no enforcement action.
