Summary

GGD West-Brabant investigated the proposed childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) of Evers Smulders at Mathildastraat 28 in Oosterhout for registration in the National Childcare Register (LRK). The location accommodates six children aged 0 to 4 years, four days per week. On virtually all aspects (pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, accommodation, safety and health), statutory requirements are met. However, there is one shortcoming: the care address cannot be definitively established as the residential address of the childminder. The intended care space is located at house number 28a, while the residential address is 28. Research in the Key Register of Addresses and Buildings (BAG) shows both addresses are registered separately with different usage functions. The municipality of Oosterhout has initiated further investigation together with a building surveyor. The inspector notes that this is not an operational violation prior to the start of care, but rather a shortcoming that prevents registration.
