About this care
BSO ESV is located on the grounds of Primary School ESV at Tichelweg 5 in Enschede. We pick up children from the Enschedese Schoolvereniging and provide them with a safe place to flourish after school.
Our pedagogical staff challenge children to discover their own talents. We believe that children who are allowed to experience, decide and make mistakes themselves, will go the furthest. In our spacious gym and adjacent outdoor area, children can play sports, play and be creative. We regularly organize excursions and activities in nature.
With us, there is always time to relax after a long school day. Children receive a healthy snack and drink. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account. Our location has its own pick-up service that safely brings children from school to the after-school care.

BSO ESV at Tichelweg 5 in Enschede provides after-school care (BSO) for a maximum of 35 children aged 4–13. During the annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 21 August 2025, one shortcoming was identified: the pedagogical work plan still listed the old capacity of 32 children and lacked details on base group sizes and the staff-to-child ratio. All staff members hold valid diplomas, Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), and first aid (EHBO) certificates; staffing levels meet the legal ratio requirements. The GGD advises the municipality not to take enforcement action.
