Welcome to Elorah Capelle aan den IJssel, our Christian-Reformed daycare located in De Olijfboom primary school at Pelikaanweg 4, Capelle aan den IJssel. Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Elorah Capelle aan den IJssel (Stichting Kibeo) offers half-day care to 16 children aged 2-4 during school weeks. The inspection of 7 February 2025 shows that all assessed quality requirements now comply with the Childcare Act. The pedagogical climate is positive: policy and practice are in order, pre-school education according to the 'BAS in de klas' method is carefully implemented, parents are involved, development is tracked digitally and the required pedagogical policy staff member for pre-school education is amply deployed. Personnel matters are well arranged: all staff hold a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) and correct registration, the staff-to-child ratio is not exceeded, there is a backup staff arrangement, and children have fixed caregivers and a mentor. The parent committee is now fully constituted and functioning. Previous violations (incomplete parent committee and missing link in the Personenregister) have been resolved. The municipality is advised not to apply enforcement.
