The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected after-school care (BSO) de Sportwijzer2 of Eigen&Wijzer in Maarssen on 8 December 2025. The unannounced post-registration inspection demonstrated that the location meets all statutory requirements. The after-school care (BSO), located in sports canteens at Sportpark Daalseweide, accommodates up to 90 children (ages 4-13) divided across two groups. The pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights were all assessed positively. The pedagogical practice shows that practitioners encourage children in their self-reliance and set clear boundaries. There are adequate provisions for independent outdoor play from age 8 with parental consent. Staff are correctly registered in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister kinderopvang) and meet all qualification requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The previous registration inspection (September 2025) resulted in 'meets requirements after recovery offer' for staff and groups; this has since been resolved. The GGD advises the municipality not to take enforcement measures.
