Summary
On 13 April 2026, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted a registration investigation at childminder E.J. Melis in Boekel, affiliated with childminder agency (gastouderbureau) ViaViela Uden. The childminder provides day care and after-school care (BSO) to three children aged 1, 2 and 4 years at the residential address of the requesting parent. For all investigated themes – general conditions, pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, accommodation and safety – the statutory quality requirements are met. During the investigation, a safety risk was identified: a sheepskin in a crib from which a child could slip underneath. This was resolved during the course of the investigation by placing the skin underneath the fitted sheet. The GGD advises the municipality of Boekel to include the childminder in the National Childcare Register.
