About this care
Welcome to Doomijn BSO De Meenthe, located at De Meenthe 26 in the centre of Hattem. We provide after-school care for up to 32 children aged 4 to 12. Our team is ready every day to offer a safe, homely and stimulating place where children can relax and develop.
For parents who start early, we offer before-school care on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 07:30 to 08:30. After school we welcome the children with a varied programme of activities based on their own interests and needs. Playing, crafting, sports, discovery and being together are central. We work closely with primary school De Vlonder, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 23 March 2026 at Doomijn BSO De Meenthe in Hattem. The after-school care (BSO) is located in the building of OBS de Vlonder and accommodates 32 children. The inspection focused on the domains 'Pedagogical Climate' and 'Staff and Groups'. Observations were made, interviews conducted, and documents reviewed. The staff provided full cooperation. All assessed quality requirements are being met. The pedagogical policy is complete and implemented in practice. Children are greeted respectfully, given freedom of choice in activities, and are positively encouraged in their independence and social development. The staff-to-child ratio is in order, all staff members hold the correct diplomas and Certificates of Good Conduct (VOGs), and pedagogical coaching is adequately structured. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
