About this care
Day-care centre De Zeesterren is located in the heart of Diemen, within walking distance of the shopping centre and public library. We provide care for children from 0 to 4 years and work with a horizontal group structure: two toddler groups and one day-care group for the youngest. Our site is VVE-certified and uses the Uk & Puk developmental programme, focusing on language and speech development. Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Zeesterren in Diemen was inspected unannounced on 20 June 2025. The daycare center provides regular childcare as well as early childhood education (ECE/VE) to a maximum of 40 children. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) identified two violations: the absence of a concrete description of the ECE room and a plan for how parents are actively involved in their child's development. The location was given a recovery offer and submitted a revised pedagogical work plan within two weeks. These improvements have been approved, thereby resolving the violations. The GGD advises the municipality not to impose additional measures.
