De Vennen KDV

Kinderdagverblijf de Vennen is a small-scale daycare centre operated by Stichting Welschap Kinderopvang, located in the quiet residential area of Boven de Baandert in Heemskerk. We provide care for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm and familiar environment. Our outdoor space is designed to challenge and inspire children. The garden features a large sandbox with a mud kitchen, a vegetable garden, a wigwam, a small bridge, a slide, and plenty of greenery. Even the youngest children have their own corner to explore safely. We believe in learning through play, and children are encouraged to get messy and curious. Inside, we work with vertical groups. Open doors between rooms create a welcoming atmosphere where children of different ages interact and play together. This supports social development and a sense of community. We offer early childhood education (VVE) using the Uk & Puk programme. Puk the puppet is a familiar face in the group and joins the children in their daily adventures. The activities are tailored to both babies and toddlers. Our enthusiastic team is committed to providing a safe and loving environment. Every child is seen and valued. The strong connection within our team contributes to a trusted atmosphere for both children and parents. Healthy meals are a priority. We serve fresh and varied food and snacks. An active and involved parent committee helps shape our policies and activities. De Vennen is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
