About this care
Welcome to BSO de Stee, located at Zuringveld 1 in the heart of Teteringen. We are part of Kober, a trusted childcare organisation that has been dedicated to children’s development for more than 75 years. In our spacious, bright premises we provide after-school care for 100 primary-school children aged 4 to 12.
Our professional pedagogical staff are ready every day to give children a safe, challenging and above all enjoyable time after school. We pick the children up from nearby primary schools and offer them space to play, relax or be active. Through the Parent App we keep parents informed of their child’s experiences, with a fun photo or the latest news from the group.
BSO de Stee works from one clear principle: children are given the space to be themselves. We provide calm and structure, but also plenty of challenge. Summary
GGD West-Brabant conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 21 April 2026 at after-school care (BSO) de Stee in Teteringen, part of Kober B.V. The location provides care for up to 100 children aged 4 to 13. Overall, the location meets the statutory quality requirements well. The pedagogical climate and staffing are assessed positively. Children feel emotionally safe and secure, staff guide social interactions well, and there is considerable attention to individual development. One violation was identified: children had been assigned multiple mentors and parents and children did not know who the fixed mentor was. This was resolved within the set deadline (recovery offer completed on 20 May 2026). The GGD advises the municipality of Breda not to apply enforcement.
