Summary
The annual inspection of 27 November 2025 of daycare center Regenboog in Schalkhaar shows predominantly positive findings. The toddler group, located on the grounds of an AZC (asylum seekers' centre), meets almost all quality requirements. The pedagogical practice is characterised by sensitive and responsive care, with children encouraged in their independence and social development. The accommodation with 98 m² indoor space and 90 m² outdoor space is appropriately furnished. One violation was identified: persons aged 18 and over residing at the address of the daycare center (AZC residents) do not possess a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). However, the municipality of Deventer has decided not to request a VOG for these persons, as the childcare is housed in a separate building with no access for AZC residents. Given these mitigating circumstances, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises against enforcement.
