De Ontdekking

Welcome to BSO De Ontdekking, part of Kindcentrum De Ontdekking located at Rijzertlaan 242 in 's-Hertogenbosch. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13, picking them up from school and offering a safe, stimulating environment to play, explore, and unwind after a busy school day. Our after-school care is organized into age-specific groups: one group for ages 4–6, two groups for ages 4–8, and two groups for ages 7–13. This structure ensures children engage in activities suited to their developmental stage. Our team of dedicated and consistent childcare professionals supports each child’s personal growth. Every group has a designated mentor who serves as the primary contact for parents and closely monitors the child’s well-being. Our facilities are designed to inspire and challenge. Children can climb in our treehouse, get creative in the art studio, or relax in the living kitchen. We offer a varied program of activities, with children actively involved in choosing what to do. Activities include sports and games, arts and crafts, outdoor play in our garden, and themed projects based on their interests. During school holidays, we are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, providing full-day care. On school days, care begins immediately after school and continues until 6:30 PM. We collect children from partner primary schools and ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. At BSO De Ontdekking, fun, development, and connection are at the heart of everything we do. We provide a space where children can be themselves, discover new things, and grow together with friends.
