De Leigraaf

Welcome to child daycare centre De Leigraaf, located at Leigraaf 4 in Beuningen. We are situated in the same building as the child health centre (consultatiebureau), near the shopping centre of Beuningen, sports hall De Tinnengieter, and within walking distance of the petting zoo and playground Kindervreugd. Our location has two horizontal base groups. 'Het Speelkasteel' is for the youngest children aged 0 to 2 years, focusing on calmness and following each baby's personal daily rhythm. The toddler group 'Villa Kakelbont' (2 to 4 years) revolves around playing and discovering together, with both guided activities and free play. A fixed daily rhythm provides structure and prepares children for primary school. Our spacious indoor and outdoor areas are carefully designed with soft colours and materials that radiate peace and homeliness. For the youngest there are quiet corners to rest or play, while climbing frames and cushions invite older children to clamber. The toddler group has themed corners, a reading nook and a sand/water table. Children can also sleep outdoors. Thanks to our small-scale set-up, the two groups are closely connected, making the transition from baby to toddler group seamless. Parents and children get to know the pedagogical staff of both groups well, creating a familiar feeling throughout the entire care period.
