The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected after-school care (BSO) De Ladder in Maarn on 2 June 2026. The location, part of Stichting Kind&co ludens, provides care for a maximum of 22 children aged 4 to 13 years on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons. All four examined domains (pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights) comply with legislation and regulations. The pedagogical practice shows positive examples, such as guiding children in cooperative play. Staff are properly qualified and registered. The safety and health policy is in order, including valid first aid certificates and a functioning reporting protocol. Parents are well informed, and an alternative parent consultation arrangement is in place due to the small number of children. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
