About this care
De Kindervlinder 2.0 BSO is located at Westenveldweg 1 in Tilligte and offers after-school care for up to 24 children aged 4 to 12. Our childcare centre has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 8 January 2024 under number 250391582. We operate according to a clear pedagogical policy focused on safety, development, and enjoyment.
Our BSO is tailored entirely to the needs of school-age children. We provide care in fixed base groups, with each child assigned a personal mentor. This mentor is the regular point of contact for both child and parents and discusses the child’s development when desired. We use a horizontal group structure, with children playing and learning in age-based groups.
Our premises feature spacious indoor and outdoor areas that are safely and stimulatingly designed. There is a minimum of 3.5 m² of indoor play space and 3 m² of outdoor play space per child. The outdoor play area is directly adjacent to the building and safely accessible. We meet all legal requirements regarding safety, health, and pedagogical climate, as confirmed by the GGD Twente inspection report of 7 December 2023.
We work exclusively with qualified childcare professionals who hold a Certificate of Good Conduct. Dutch is our primary language. Summary
The annual inspection on 9 March 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Kindervlinder 2.0 in Tilligte showed a mixed picture. The pedagogical practice and pedagogical policy met requirements well, with a positive, safe atmosphere in which children feel secure. However, there were serious shortcomings in the areas of staffing and safety. A trainee was structurally deployed in a formative capacity as a replacement, which is not permitted, resulting in the statutory staff-to-child ratio not being met. A staff member working independently also lacked a valid first aid certificate. These violations connect to previous findings, leading the Municipal Health Service (GGD) to opt for a sustainable recovery process. The provider has drawn up an action plan with structural procedures for document control and qualification monitoring. The shortcomings have since been resolved. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
