De Kanjers en de Spetters

Welcome to De Kanjers en de Spetters, our daycare center located at De Morgenzon 5B in Holwert. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland and have been providing professional childcare for up to 31 children aged 0 to 4 years since July 2, 2014. Our location is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 138485999, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance. At our center, everything revolves around creating a familiar and cozy place where every child can find their own space. We work with a permanent and close-knit team of pedagogical staff who are perfectly attuned to each other. This collaboration creates a warm and safe environment in which children can develop optimally. We look at what each child needs and respond by challenging and guiding them where necessary. Our certified bilingual childcare (Frisian and Dutch) pays a lot of attention to language activities. This stimulates the bilingual development of children, which strengthens language awareness and social and cognitive development. We regularly organize fun activities such as scavenger hunts through the village, pajama parties and creative workshops. Together with parents, we organize these activities, creating a close bond between parents, children and our pedagogical staff. We believe it is important that parents are involved in their child's development. Therefore, we ensure that parents can see what happens to their child during childcare. Our location offers pre-school education (VE) and is under the supervision of the GGD Fryslân. We work according to a pedagogical work plan in which our vision on the development of young children is laid down. Our spacious location at De Morgenzon has its own garden where children can play and discover. We offer different groups, working with horizontal group composition. This means that children come together in age groups, which benefits development and the group process.
