About this care
Daycare Op Streek in Ferwert is specially designed for children aged 0 to 4 years. We are located in the same building as primary school Op Streek, providing a warm and familiar environment that perfectly matches the world of young children. At our daycare, children receive loving attention and a sense of security. We give them space to develop, but above all, we encourage them to play and simply be children. That is exactly what they are allowed to be with us.
We operate a bilingual policy. Both Frisian and Dutch receive focused attention. We follow the guidelines associated with our certificate “boartsjendewei in taal derby”. We receive support for this from the Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang (SFBO).
Our childcare is flexible: parents can choose full-day, half-day, or flexible daycare. We use horizontal groups, where children are grouped by age. The location accommodates a maximum of 16 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 4 September 2017 under number 890027468. We provide preschool education (VE) and work closely with the school, ensuring a smooth transition when your child reaches primary school age.
Our natural outdoor space and the recently renovated school environment offer a safe and stimulating place for your child to grow and play. We always put your child's needs first.Read more
