KC De Hoven

Develop yourself and grow together At Kindcentrum De Hoven, childcare and education are one. Together we form a vibrant play and learning environment where children feel at home for years to come. One building, one vision. Centrally located in the young De Groote Wielen neighbourhood, KC De Hoven is always close by. For children and their parents alike. Our vision for children Naturally, our starting point is that every child can be themselves. And feel comfortable with us. What does that require? We coordinate that together. Child, parents, school and childcare. Within our child centre, safety, trust and responsibility take centre stage. For everyone. This is how we create a place where children can truly flourish. Rather than rules, we prefer to talk with the children about expectations: what can we expect from one another? Clear, warm and genuine, with sufficient structure and freedom. What makes us different Nobody can tell you that better than our two cheerful mascots Loe and Loes. On displays throughout the building, this cheerful duo tells you more about our child centre and our expectations. And sometimes they ask questions. Or give you a fun idea. For our babies and toddlers, we have a safe and sheltered rooftop terrace. There is also a huge indoor gymnasium — so cool when the disco lights are on! — an art studio and our own theatre. Through Bordfolio, the after-school care (BSO) children choose which activities they want to join. Take part in the escape room or rather roll through the neighbourhood on a scooter or skates? 'I wish I could be my little brother for a day. Then I could go back to childcare!' Pleun, 5 years old Good and nice to know Our own outdoor play area on the rooftop terrace for the toddlers and babies. The toddlers have their own outdoor play area on the ground floor. The wadi and the large playground are the domain of the after-school care (BSO). Large gymnasium with plenty of room for sports and games. We celebrate together. In our central hall. You'll also find our library here. Welcome to Kindcentrum De Hoven While there is plenty to experience on the cosy inner courtyards on every floor, outside remains the favourite. Rain or shine. It's a given: Thijs, Mila and Emma are the first at the hockey pitch next to our building. Shortly after, a whole group of children are playing a self-invented game of tag in the wadi.
