About this care
Welcome to De Compositie, our after-school care (BSO) located at Chagallweg 8 in Almere. We are part of GO! Kinderopvang and work closely with Basisschool De Compositie, a broad-based school in the Tussen de Vaarten district. Our facility provides care for up to 97 children aged 4 to 12.
Each day we collect children from the primary school and offer them a familiar, safe environment where they can play, relax and discover new things. We use the Konnect app, through which parents receive photos and reports of their child, read current news and have digital access to placements and invoices.
Our spaces include a library and a stage for theatre activities. We believe it is important that children can express themselves creatively and have the space to read, play and be together. Parental involvement is high on our priority list: we invite parents to information evenings, parent meetings and activities. Each location also has an active parent committee.

BSO De Compositie in Almere, part of GO! Kinderopvang, received an unannounced visit on 30 July 2026 for its annual inspection. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 97 children aged 4 to 12. The inspection found that the location meets all assessed requirements. The pedagogical practice was rated positively: staff work in accordance with the pedagogical policy, offer challenging activities through the Doenkids programme, and interact sensitively with children. No violations were identified. One area for attention was noted: during combined groups in the holiday period, some restlessness arose due to sensory overload, where greater use of available spaces could be considered. The indoor climate on the sun-facing side of the building is a known issue; the location has a heat protocol in place and follows additional measures. Staff are correctly registered in the PRK (Persons Register Childcare), and the safety and health policy is up-to-date and being followed.
