About this care
BSO De Buddha Kids is located inside De Tandem primary school at Kerklaantje 15 in Nederasselt. We provide before-school, lunch-time and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our qualified staff create a safe, home-like environment where fun and development go hand in hand.
We work closely with the school: before-school care starts in the same building before classes begin, lunch-time care is offered free of charge during the midday break, and after-school care continues until the end of your working day. We also remain open on teacher training days and during school holidays, so you can always rely on us.

Summary
BSO De Buddha Kids in Nederasselt provides small-scale after-school care (BSO) for up to 22 children, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with before-school care available on all school days. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 20 March 2025. The pedagogical policy was initially incomplete: the description of multi-site care on school-free days was missing. Following a recovery offer, the provider submitted a revised plan within the inspection period that now meets all legal requirements. The pedagogical practice is positive: children experience emotional safety, are given room for personal and social development, and learn to interact with each other respectfully. All staff hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), have the correct qualifications, and are properly registered; the pedagogical policy officer is deployed sufficiently. No violations were identified. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement measures.
